Oh girls,
Our hearts are just plain full tonight.
These last eight weeks spent with YOU in the book of {Esther} have been nothing short of incredible. It’s safe to say that we’ve laughed and cried with you, and just like you, we got honest with the work God needed to do in our hearts. We’ve hung on every word of your stories celebrating victories and breakthroughs, and we’ve praised God again and again for revealing Himself throughout each chapter and verse. As we come to the end of our Love God Greatly {Esther Study}, we can taste God’s providence fresh and anew, and we pray that you can too.
So, thank you.
Thanks for your commitment to reading God’s Word with us, and for being vulnerable in the process.
Thanks to the hundreds of LGG Facilitators who led with such commitment and loving care.
And thanks be to our great God, who has faithfully and tenderly led us all the way.
As our way of saying “thank you,” we’ve created this {FREE PRINTABLE} for YOU!!
Let these words from Esther 4:14 be a reminder that you are a woman deeply loved by God, made for a purpose.
*Thanks to Sunu from clothedinscarlet.org for creating our {FREE PRINTABLE}!!

*LET’S TALK: How has God used the LGG {Esther} study in YOUR life? Did any specific chapter or lesson stand out to you? What will you take away from this study and apply to your daily life? Let’s celebrate what God has done in the comments below!!
At His feet,
Our NEW upcoming study!
When we think of thankfulness, we typically look to temporary things: our health, our family, the food on our table… All wonderful things to give thanks for! But the heart of gratitude should stem from a much deeper place…
Join us for ‘The Source of Gratitude,’ from November 10th to November 21st! During the first week of this study, we’ll take a closer look at who God is and what he has done. This will inspire us for the second week of our study, when we examine what our response should be.
Gratitude should permeate our lives each day of the year! When we glimpse of the greatness of God, our response of gratitude will follow.
We are so excited, and we can’t wait for you to join us!
Please note that there will be no formal enrollment for this study. Groups are not available unless you are already in one, but we invite you to study along with us here on the blog…or grab some friends to form your own group and study together. Either way works… the most important thing is getting into God’s Word!
Throughout this entire Esther study I have been continually struck with the truth that God is in total control of all life events, even when things don’t *seem* like it. I’ve learned that even when it’s *scary* I must always seek to the right thing. Along these same lines, I’ve learned that not only is worry a sin, but it’s actually calling God a liar because He *promises* us in His Word that He’s in total control, that He loves us, only wants to prosper us and not to harm us, He will guard and protect us, He will care for us, etc. When we worry, what we’re really doing is doubting God’s promises. We think He won’t keep them.
So now that Esther is done, during this break until the gratitude study begins, I’m going to pursue learning about the character of God/His names. I think the reason I (and many others) struggle with not fully trusting God is because we don’t truly *know* who He is.
I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed the group I was in. It was an international email group. GREAT ladies and my facilitator was “on it”. She was incredible! So prepared. Always emailed on time. Very encouraging. Always got back with you right away if you had any questions. I’m gonna stay in her group for the gratitude & advent studies!
SO glad God led me to LGG and prompted my heart to join this study (my first one). It’s really caused me to ponder deeply and make some life changes. Thank you LGG ladies and all who was involved in putting together and facilitating Esther. God bless you for all your hard work and biblical insight. God’s using you and your talents to change hearts and lives for Him!
Hi Melissa,
Is it possible to me to join the email group? Thank you.
Salema, we would be glad to have you join our email group if you have not/or don’t get a response from Melissa. Just email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to add you to our group. Some of us have been together for what will now be the 4th study! You’re welcome to be part of our group ~ Sheila
I’m sure it would be ok Salema. I’ll ask my facilitator just to make sure. What’s your email?
Yep it’s ok Selema. Just need your email address to give to the facilitator. 🙂
Melissa, I too, came to realize that my doubt and worry is a sin so what better reason not to do it! It’s pointless and God can take care of all the problems with no help from me. It’s just wonderful to know that thousands of us were so blessed to be a part of this wonderful study. So looking forward to the next one too.
Thank you for the study and this beautiful printable. It is perfect reminder to keep in front of me this month and next as I work on some new projects that it would be all to easy to feel scared of and back away from.
My big take aways are how God is totally in control, and can keep us safe in any circumstance.
Thank you so much for the study, it was wonderful, and I really appreciate it being available on you version too!
I didn’t do the Esther study with you but am leading a group and we’ll be doing this one. Since there are no sign ups, how do leaders get access to the study pics you’ve provided in the past? {ie via the leaders only section}?
This study had been very encouraging to me and I have learned a lot from it! The verse “for such a time as this” has really stood out me and showed me that God could use the events in my life “for such a time as this”. I have also learned that the right words need to be said at the right time in the right setting. This will help me to listen more carefully to when God tells me to speak or to remain silent. I look back on my life and there were many times when I spoke too soon and things didn’t turn out. I don’t want that to happen anymore and I will remember what I learned this study.
If only I can remember this! How very true – to learn to listen, to pause, to think, to make sure that what we say and do is in alignment with our God. This study was a beautiful was to learn.
I have enjoyed this study of Esther and look forward to the next study. Thank you for all you do for us. 🙂 God Bless You.
I have typically studied the Bible on my own by simply reading the word and applying it to my life, meditating on what God shows me each day as I read. I have, once in a while, done a Bible study along with a group of people, or I’ve tried it on my own, but I always come back to just soaking up the scripture, journaling, praying, and listening. When my sister asked if I wanted to join her in this study, I was not convinced that it would be “my thing” to study the Word in this way, but I have just moved to a new community and new church and felt it was a good time to connect with another woman, even if far away, and who better than my own sister? I still enjoy days when I can just dig into the Word on its own, and I think there is a time and place for that and much merit in it, but what I have discovered through Love God Greatly is that there is another way that is equally challenging and encouraging that draws me close to the Lord just as much. You have truly opened my mind and heart, and I am so blessed by that! Thank you for this study. The book of Esther has always been a favorite of mine, and I have read it time and again, but I enjoyed devouring it with fresh eyes, little by little, over the past 8 weeks, and I have learned so much from your insights and application. I am very much looking forward to doing the next study with you. Thank you for all the time and study that went into this. You have truly developed a ministry that is blessing thousands of women (and men! I had my husband read a post a few weeks ago because it complimented the sermon he was writing!!!). Blessings to each of you!
Oh ladies, Whitney, Jen, Joy and Angela! You are going to be blown away when you get to heaven by how many women you have touched with Love God Greatly. I invited women to my HOME for the first time (I have always grown up extremely guarded and private) and it was an incredible blessing to both myself and those women to study Esther together. I would have never known what I am missing by not being in fellowship with other Christian women, and my heart is so full from the friendships and love that I feel for and from the beautiful women in my small group (there is 4 of us).
Thank you for all your hard work, your prayers, and your commitment to seeing women get in the Word! Can’t wait to be with y’all for eternity 🙂
~Netty
And for such a time as this, in your life, Netty, God put this study in your pathway! What a gift!
I started the series on Esther but then life happened and I fell behind. Is there anywhere I can access the whole series so that I may finish it? Thanks for the series!
This was my third study with LGG and GMG and I can never, ever imagine how I can read scripture again without automatically doing a “mental SOAP!” Esther was a book in the Bible that truthfully I didn’t recall having read. when I read it before the study started, I wasn’t sure how we could make 8 weeks with such a short book. BUT – wow!!!! God’s plan, once again, proved to be wholly carried out in our lives as participants as in Esther’s time. What I gained from this study was the full awareness of how God works in each and every step of my life ` whether I am aware of it or not. NOW< I will be aware! Each study makes me more aware of how loved I am as one of God's chosen children. How He wants me to know His love, share His love and let others see Him through my life. I am challenged! All praise and glory to our Heavenly Father for bringing us together – for such a time as this!
I think I placed this original comment on the wrong day. Thank you ladies so much for this study. I went through a ” tsunami” in my life over this past year, one that was a long ordeal almost an entire year. Actually the storm began several years back with a similar time frame as Esther. The eye of the storm hit right before this study, and at the time of impact I didn’t know what was to come. But by the grace and love of Christ, I survived. Satan tried really hard to destroy what God created, but what he meant for harm, God is using for His glory and good, He is still in control. As I see the remnants of the storm, the brokeness of it all, God has placed in my life people and examples of what it means to stay faithful, stand firm leaning on Him, to look upward and not backwards, trusting in Him along the way. Specially trusting in what I cannot control. This study redirected my focus on steadfastness, laying my worries on Him because I recieved a harsh reminder if the sin left in me when I worry. It also helps me to remember revenge isn’t mine to give, but obedience to God is. Thank you ladies again and may you be blessed in each of your lives, and may we be like Esthers in our storms.
Dear Whitney,
Thank you for your time in preparing this post.
For me, it was 2 things:
1. Learning more about humility – less of Haman more of Mordecai!
2. Being reminded that God IS working on our behalf behind the scenes, even though we cannot feel it, touch it or see it!
Praise God!
I followed along daily in the bible app, will the new study be on there as well? It’s such a helpful tool to know I’ve ready daily in the midst of taking care of 2 kids under 2!
Thank you so much for the work you do in putting these studies together. My group is excited about doing the Gratefulness study, however it works better for us to start the study this week. Is there any way you could email me the reading schedule so we can benefit from this study in the time frame that works best for our group?
Dear sweet girls,
You are all so wise in God’s ways for your young ages! If only I had been that wise at your age! Thank you all so much for all your hours and work you put into these studies. You are such an amazing blessing to so many!!
The study on Esther was awesome. To me Esther’s life is like our lives. It is like a tapestry that God is weaving. He uses the threads of our lives as he creates a beautiful masterpiece.
He weaves our lives and our experiences in and out, sometimes close together, sometimes far apart, sometimes with bright colors, sometimes with dark colors. To us as we see it, it can look like a big mess cause we see it from the back side where all the knots and tangles are. But God sees it from the other side and He sees how beautiful it is. We will see the other side of it someday and we will understand.
Thank you again for getting us into God’s word everyday!
Love and blessings to all.
Hi ladies at LGG! This isn’t related to this blog post, but I was wondering when the old bible studies will be posted. I purchased Angela’s book, You are Loved, but wasn’t able to complete the study with the group. I’m hoping older studies will be posted soon so that I can read this book with the materials on my own time. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks for all you do and God bless!
